Cantalangues

Cantalangues offers French to English translation and English editing and proofreading services from Tania Doney, a native English speaker with a BA in English and French and an MRes in French from the University of Exeter, as well as a DPhil in French from the University of Oxford. Tania has over fifteen years of professional experience as a freelance translator, editor, and proofreader.

Tania works with a variety of different clients and has translated, edited, and proofread books, articles, legal texts, business reports, websites, blog posts, and correspondence. Tania lives in France (in the beautiful Cantal département) and has near native ability in French. She has an excellent grasp of the spelling, grammar, and punctuation of her native language and is meticulous in her work.

Tania enjoys working with direct clients, so that the work is a true collaboration between the creator and the translator/editor. Her aim is always to ensure the client’s true meaning is conveyed as accurately and as naturally as possible in the translated or edited text.
